Agricole Farm Stop is off to a great start.
The year-round farmers market opened in June, and has become a regular stop for fresh local produce, meats, honey, eggs and more.
It’s located in the Mack Building at the corner of Main and Jackson streets, and sells fresh foods for more than 40 vendors, most of them located in a 15 mile radius of Chelsea.
You can also get coffee, breads, and pastries at Agricole, which offers community space for those who want to stay and relax.
The managing members of Agricole are Abby Hurst, Kathy Kennedy, Sharon Norton, and Patrick Zieske.
Their mission is “to encourage and improve small farm viability, increase community access to locally grown food, and educate the public about maintaining small farming as a community resource.”
Agricole is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and until 9 p.m. on Thursdays during Sounds & Sights. Weekend hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Excellent addition to Chelsea. This shop is a whole lot more than a farm store. They have created a space for the community to come together and enjoy all that is our small town and our vibrant local farming community.
Great produce, awesome bread, and outstanding coffee.
My family is thrilled to have Agricole in Chelsea as another option for purchasing food from local farmers. Thank you!
Absolutely LOVE the curry offerings!
