(Chelsea Update would like to thank Courtney Aldrich for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea First United Methodist Church will host the 6th Annual Material Girls Children’s Christmas Bazaar during Hometown Holidays on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The bazaar provides a meaningful and affordable shopping experience for children 4 years old through 6th grade. The gifts, hand-crafted by members of Material Girls, sell for $1-$5.

Something new this year – there will be a Parent Corner and a Bake Sale where adults can shop. All profits from the bazaar will be given to Faith-in-Action.

Many adult and youth volunteers (6th grade and older) are needed to assist over 250 children as they select and wrap gifts for their families. Please sign up below if you are able to help with one or two shifts during this enjoyable community event. You are welcome to invite friends to work with you. Please ask them to sign up on the Volunteer List as well.

Click here for the link. Volunteers who sign up by Nov. 9, will receive priority shopping appointments for their children/grandchildren before the shopping sign-up is made available to the public.

If you have any questions, please contact Courtney Aldrich at [email protected].
