Hometown Holiday: ‘Lights Up & Shop Local’

(Chelsea Update would like to thank D&B Strategic Marketing for the information in this story.)

The 32nd Annual Chelsea Hometown Holiday, presented by Rick Taylor Real Estate – Reinhart Realtors will take place Nov. 30 to Dec. 2.

As visitors enjoy the festive activities, they will also find businesses promoting “Lights Up & Shop Local,” a collaborative initiative to introduce all that Chelsea has to offer.  Participating businesses will be decked out in holiday lights to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

“Last year, over 10,000 people participated in Chelsea’s Hometown Holiday events. The goal of Lights Up & Shop Local is to welcome visitors and show them the diverse services available locally,” said Denise Cugliari, event coordinator for Chelsea Area Festivals & Events.

All Chelsea businesses and non-profit organizations are invited to participate for free.

A sign-up form to be included in promotions can be found at www.chelseamich.com/lights-shop-local/.

Last year, over 50 businesses participated throughout Chelsea. Seeing holiday lights in so many business windows truly added to the festive ambiance of Hometown Holidays,” Cugliari said.
