In addition to Santa’s arrival on Friday, Nov. 30 to kick off Hometown Holiday, a live nativity, a concert, cookie decorating and story telling will also take place.
The annual tree lighting begins at 6 p.m., while cookie decorating and story telling begin at 6:30 p.m.
So visitors to the first of three days of the festival can begin at Pierce Park for Santa’s arrival, then there are a number of spots to visit for the rest of the evening.
- Santa’s workshop at The Depot on Jackson Street from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- Live nativity from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church on Park Street
- Common Chords concert at the Chelsea District Library from 7-8 p.m.
- Cookie decorating at the Chelsea Teddy Bear Factory from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- Story Telling at the Farmer’s Supply on Jackson Street across from The Depot from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
