In photos by Burrill Strong: Earth Day/Arbor Day in the Alumni Arbor

On Saturday, there was an Earth Day/Arbor Day event in the Chelsea High School Alumni Arbor and photographer Burrill Strong was on hand to capture the event in photos.

Participants cleaned up, put down mulch, did some planting, and installed birdhouses and the little free library.

  1. So proud to see support for Earth Day, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2020! Thanks to all who gave their time and energy to the project, and to Burrill Strong for the great photos! And as a member of the Friends of the Chelsea District Library, kudos for the Little Free Library!

  2. It was fun to see all the youthful energy being applied to further beautify the school grounds. What a great legacy they are creating!
