Bob Pierce and Nadine Anderson were awarded the Lifetime Achievement winners while Trinh Pifer was chosen as the Citizen of the year.
Although Pifer was unable to attend the banquet in person, many of her supporters from the Chelsea Senior Center were in attendance and there was a video presentation. Also attending the banquet was Rick Taylor Reinhart Realtors who sponsored the event. Tributes were given by Chelsea Mayor Melissa Johnson, Congressman Tim Walberg, State Rep. Donna Lasinski, State Senator Lana Theis and Chris Matus on behalf of Senator Gary Peters. Unable to attend was County Commissioner Jason Maciejewski.
Chelsea Are Chamber of Commerce President Paul Schissler provided the welcome address, Gary Munce introduced Pifer and Steve Daut introduced Pierce. Monica Monsma, executive director of the chamber, gave the closing remarks.
