The Board of Directors of CSB Bancorp, Inc. and Chelsea State Bank appointed Jacqueline (Jackie) Schiller to the Board of Directors for both entities at its October board meeting.

“It is a great honor for me to welcome Jackie to our Board,” said Chelsea State Bank Chief Executive Officer John Mann in a press release.

“Jackie brings strong management and leadership expertise to our board as she recently retired after 46 years of outstanding service and dedication to our bank. Jackie is a wealth of knowledge, and I look forward to working with her once again as she brings her talents to board governance,” Mann said.

Schiller was promoted to senior vice president, human resource officer of Chelsea State Bank in 2014, and retired from that position in February. With a long-standing banking career, Schiller had a special commitment to Chelsea State Bank and the community as she began her career with the bank as a teller and bookkeeper right out of high school in 1972.

After attending Washtenaw Community College, Schiller continued to move up in the bank. In 1979, she was promoted to assistant supervisor of bookkeeping, assistant cashier in 1985, and in 1992 assistant vice president.

“Jackie is joining our board as Marni Schmid is leaving,” Mann said, adding, “We appreciate the time and effort Marni devoted to our organization and will certainly miss her contributions.”

I feel, however undeservingly, a certain amount of pride, as if I might have had a small part in your success. Take care of “Chelsea State Bank”.
