James Dapogny’s Quartet with vocalist Heather Schwartz and cellist Mike Karoub will close out the Kaleidoscope Concert series for the season on Tuesday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at Silver Maples, 100 Silver Maples Dr.

Specializing in authentic and spirited classic jazz, music from the first 50 years of jazz history, Dapogny’s band plays turn-of-the-century ragtime, New Orleans and Chicago Jazz of the 1920s. In addition, they play small-band swing of the 1930s and early ’40s.

Dapogny’s tasteful arrangements, combined with James’ dry sense of humor make for an evening of great fun.

Free tickets for this concert are available at the Chelsea Senior Center, and free transportation is available for seniors living within the Chelsea city limits.
