After seven years at its South Main Street location in downtown Chelsea, Jewelry Set in Stone celebrated moving into its new location at a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce April 6.

Owner Stephen Kolokithas moved the business in February to 310 N. Main Street Suite 202A in the Clocktower Building.

“The increased size of the suite allowed us to create innovative, personal and customer focused design spaces that takes our design space to a new level of luxury,” said Kolokithas. “We needed a space that fit the business better including better light and more room to be able to sit with clients.”

Jewelry Set in Stone is a custom jewelry studio that lets the client be part of creating jewelry.

“Jewelry Set in Stone has a team of skilled custom design jewelers focused on working with our clients to create a design that is both beautiful and captures the client’s desires and needs,” said Kolokithas. “When creating a custom piece, our customers are involved in every step of the process. This new space allowed us to create several different design areas as well as space for hosting private parties, date night diamond viewings, gemstone dinner parties and other special events.”

Jewelry Set in Stone has received multiple recognitions including a national jewelry design award as well as being recognized as one of the top engagement and wedding designers by Hour Detroit Magazine.
