Jim Randolph named Chelsea Citizen of the Year

Jim Randolph is the epitome of volunteerism in Chelsea and for this reason and many others, he was recently named the 2017 Chelsea Citizen of the Year.

Among the Sylvan Township resident’s many volunteer activities are having served on the Chelsea Senior Center Board of Directors and as the current president of the Chelsea Kiwanis Club. He and his wife, Mary, have been instrumental in the Intergenerational garden at the senior center.

Jim Randolph has helped with the Meals on Wheels program, the Chelsea Community Senior Services (C2S2), he leads a class at the Chelsea Retirement Community, supports the Chelsea Area Garden Club and its plant sale as well as the Chelsea Family and Friends Wellness Coalition.

He and Lifetime Achievement Winner John Mann will be honored at a banquet on Thursday, Oct. 26 – at the Village Conference Center that is sponsored by Rick Taylor Real Estate.
