Surely by now you’ve heard of the Five Healthy Communities Walking Program. But have you taken advantage of this free way to get healthier?

It’s for residents of Chelsea, Dexter, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge and “provides motivation and support to people who want to get moving toward better health.” For more information, click here. And join the group’s Facebook page here.

A pedometer, walking log/journal, small rewards, monthly group walks and ongoing support is included as part of the program.
