MSU Extension Food Safety Educators will be hosting a live, online webinar: Pantry Food Safety—It’s Your Job on Monday, July 13, 5:30-8:30 p.m. and Wednesday July 29, 9 a.m.-noon.
This food safety training will cover: handwashing, personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing, receiving food product, storage of food product, re-packaging, and the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Law. This webinar is based on current food safety and the Michigan Food Code as it relates to food banks/and food pantries.
Participants are encouraged to ask their questions during the Q & A portion of the event. Food Safety Educators will be available for this session and will provide up-to-date research-based information.
Participants will receive a certificate upon submission of evaluation.
