Senior Market Bucks will have a registration event on Tuesday, July 16, from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm at Chelsea Senior Center, 512 Washington St, Chelsea.
Senior Market Bucks will be available to those who have not already received them this summer season. Coupon booklets will be available while supplies last.
Senior Market Bucks: no income requirement. Coupons worth $10 can be used on Michigan-grown foods, including fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese, yogurt, meat, poultry, fish, and honey. Foods not mentioned in the above list are not eligible. Non-food items cannot be purchased with the coupons. Senior Market Bucks are made possible by Chelsea Hospital, who received funding from a generous donor.
Senior Market Bucks is available to those who are Washtenaw County residents AND 60 years of age or older.

Update on Senior Project Fresh: unfortunately, there are no coupon booklets remaining. There will be applications available if you’d like to put on a waiting list if more coupons become available.
The criteria for Senior Project Fresh is Washtenaw County residents who are 60 years of age or older and have a total monthly household income less than $2,321 (single person) or $3,151 (2-person household).
