On July 18, Chelsea Football will host and participate in the first annual Goosepoop 7 on 7 Tournament.
There will be 24 schools participating, and the event is from 9-3 p.m., with each team guaranteed five games.
Teams will be divided into 6 pools, and then will be placed into brackets based on their pool results.
There is no admission fee for spectators, and it’s expected that the concession stand will be open.
While Goosepoop, a high school sports blog by Kanon Dean, is the official sponsor of the tournament, there are several other sponsors.
Next year, we hope to expand the event to welcome more teams from Michigan as well as other states.
