Rec It Tuesdays continues on July 23 with an event by Chelsea Area Friends for Recreation, Curiouser Clay and Geek Brush Studio at Pierce Park, 851 Main St. from 6-8 p.m.
Join Chelsea Area Friends for Recreation’s newest sponsors, Geek Brush Studio and Curiouser Clay for an evening of art. Bring your kids, family, or friends to the park for a fun painting event outdoors. Help guide their creativity or even join in the fun yourself. All ages welcome.
This year’s art theme will be woodland mushrooms. You will be able to choose from canvases that have woodland mushrooms sketched on them to help get you started or create your own woodland scene from scratch.
Mobile CDL aka Mobee will join us for some additional fun. “Mobee expands access to the library’s materials, staff, technology, and services. Visitors will use it similarly to a trip to the CDL building. During a stop visitors will be able to browse the collection, check out items, get a library card, access the internet, and get answers to questions.”
