July 6: Stop by La Baguette, Support Mikey & Me at Saturday Farmers Market

Beatrice after her rescue.

Stop by La Baguette at this Saturday’s Chelsea Farmers Market to learn about Mikey & Me, the Chelsea area dog foster facility, which surpassed 200 adoptions earlier this year.

Vendors Lisa Carolin and Suzanne Murray will donate 50 percent of their sales Saturday to Mikey & Me. Say hello to their rescue dog Beatrice, a reminder of how fulfilling rescuing a dog can be.

It’s a great time of year to visit the market. The selection of fresh fruits and vegetables is growing every week and will include cherries and blueberries, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Organic options are also available along with a variety of plants and flowers.

Eggs, peanut butter, jams, pastries, muffins, cookies, breads, and crafts will also be for sale.

The market is located at Palmer Commons, 304 Main St. in Chelsea, and runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Psycho Songs will provide the musical entertainment beginning at 10:30 p.m.
