On Wednesday July 8, and Thursday, July 9, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose lane restrictions for chip sealing on Cavanaugh Lake Road between Chelsea and Kalmbach Road in Sylvan Township.
The road improvements are anticipated to be completed on Thursday, July 9, but please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
Traffic will be restricted with flag control, and access for residents and businesses will be maintained, however, delays are likely.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route.
To ensure the safety of road crews, motorists are asked to be especially mindful of the construction activities, including personnel and equipment, and reduce speeds accordingly.
During the placement of the hot asphalt, pedestrians and bicyclists should keep clear of the area; burns are possible from contact with hot asphalt.
