The variety of fresh produce continues to grow so stock up at the Saturday Chelsea Farmers Market.

It runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and is located at Palmer Commons on Main Street.

You’ll also find plenty of plants and flowers as well as freshly baked breads, cookies, cakes, and muffins.

Artisans will be selling pottery, jewelry, bird houses, signs, and more.

Visit the Smokey Michigan booth for all purpose seasonings and barbecue sauce. The Levanseler family runs the Chelsea business that also offers catering. Come hungry because every week they sell hot sandwiches featuring their seasonings.

This week’s music will be provided by “Soul Songstress” Stacey Murray, whose unique and dynamic sound brings out the best in all genres of music.

There is a new regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
