June 1: check out Roaming Goat at the Saturday Farmers Market

Start the month of June off with fresh produce, cheese, meats, eggs, baked goods and much more Saturday at the Chelsea Farmers Market, located at Palmer Commons, 222 South Main St., from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

One of the new features at this season’s market is breakfast sandwiches from Roaming Goat, located in Grass Lake. The market vendor offers burritos filled with eggs, cheese, beans, and more, and they’re available as long as they last at every Saturday market.

Roaming Goat is owned by Britt and Pat Keene and located at 115 S. Lake St. in Grass Lake. It’s a coffee house that sells a variety of organic, gluten free, and vegan food products. Their coffee is sold at the Chelsea winter market.

Saturday market vendors this season include Brieland Shoultz Farm, Bordine Farms, Goetz Family Farm, Heim Gardens, Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, Kapnick Orchards, Lake Divide Farm, Merkel Gardens and Greenhouses, Tantré Farm, Two Tracks Acres, La Baguette, Lakehouse Bakery, Stone Hearth Bakery, Sweet & Salty (cookies), Raterman (sourdough bread), Fluffy Bottom Creamery, Para Para Creamery, H&H Sugarbush, LLC, Shoreline Wild Salmon, Affeathermations, Awakened Provisions, Bristle’s Handmade and Homegrown, Debbie’s Beads, Lavender and Honey Herbal Apothecary, Country Hills Pottery, Elderwoods, Hoppy Soap, Holdwick, Santa Rosa Watercolors, Smellz so Good (candles), Thistle Blossom Herbal, and Roaming Goat hot food.
