June 12: Nature’s Tank the Turtle at the Discovery Center

Everyone’s invited to a presentation called Nature’s Tank the Turtle on Sunday, June 12 from 2-3 p.m. at the Discovery Center.

Naturalist Tom Hodgson (and popular Chelsea Update columnist) will introduce you to Michigan’s turtles with several live specimens for you to observe along with some turtle eggs.

Learn about turtle biology and life cycles as well as what to do when turtles are encountered in the wild.

Cost: $2/person or $5/family.  Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.
