It’s June, and that means the selection of fresh plants, produce, and more is growing at the Chelsea Farmers Markets.

Come visit the Wednesday market this week at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot, located at 1010 S. Main St., near the corner of Old US-12 and M-52. The market runs from 1-5 p.m.

You’ll find a wide selection of vegetable, herb, perennial, and annual plants as well as colorful flower arrangements.

Stock up on locally produced eggs, cheese and honey, along with rhubarb, salad greens, and asparagus.

Local artisans will be selling pottery, jewelry, birdhouses and more.

For anyone who prefers to order online, that option will continue for Saturday pickup only. Just go to www.chelseafarmersmkt.org and click on the Open Food Online Network to shop. Orders can be picked up Saturdays at Palmer Commons between 10 a.m.-noon.

To learn more about what to expect each week at the farmers markets, visit the website at www.chelseafarmersmkt.org, visit the Chelsea Farmers Market Facebook page, or e-mail [email protected].
