June 21: Chelsea Rotary is going public and you’re invited

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lori Coryell for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Rotary Club is celebrating 30 years of “Service Above Self” at its President’s Party on Thursday, June 21 from 6 to 9 pm, at the Chelsea Comfort Inn and Village Conference Center (please note venue change from Chelsea Depot).

The club would like to make this a community-wide celebration, so please consider attending. Tickets are $30 and include dinner and a cash bar.

Paying tribute to the outstanding role of women in Rotary, the evening will feature polio survivor Virginia Ford as guest speaker and Virginia Norby – the first woman District Governor and a Distinguished Rotarian – as the keynote speaker.

RSVP by June 15 to Lorna Tackwell at 734.475.1664 or [email protected] or purchase tickets by visiting https://www.eventbrite.com/e/presidents-party-chelsea-rotarys-30th-birthday30-years-women-in-rotary-tickets-46379099134?aff=es2.

Traditionally, 30-year anniversaries are celebrated with a gift of pearls. Chelsea Rotary Club would much rather receive the gift of your presence at their 30th anniversary celebration, so please join us. It promises to be a remarkable evening.
