Summer has arrived, and that means more fresh produce including strawberries, rhubarb, lettuce, asparagus, and a variety of fresh greens all available at the Wednesday Chelsea Farmers market.

The market runs from 1-5 p.m. in the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12.

The Jam Man, a.k.a. Brian O’Neil, is a vendor you can only find at the Wednesday market. He sells all sorts of hand-made jams that he makes using fresh ingredients. He has a huge variety of fruit jams that need to be seen in person, and O’Neil can answer any question you have about them.

You can also find all sorts of plants – vegetable, herb, and annuals-at the Wednesday farmers market along with honey, baked goods, and eggs, and soy candles, pottery, and jewelry.

Among the vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle Lane Farm, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), Smellz So Good (candles), and Jam Man.
