Summer is officially here and so is more fresh produce. Come to the Saturday Chelsea Farmers Market at Palmer Commons to see what’s for sale.

The market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

You’ll find strawberries, rhubarb, beets, a variety of greens, along with breads, cookies, and French desserts. There are also meats, cheeses, eggs as well as pottery, jewelry, and soy candles.

One of the new Saturday vendors this season is Olga Kaminsky, owner of Travka Herbals, based in Munith.

Kaminsky sells herbal products made with organic ingredients and no preservatives. She uses a biodynamic calendar meaning that after she picks her herbs, she starts her tinctures and oils according to the best time for the plant part she wants to emphasize.

She grows as many of her own herbs as she can because her garden is her favorite resource. Among the products sold at Travka Herbals are lavender soap, skin salves, essential oil, elderberry elixir, and bath fizzies.

Saturday market vendors this season include Brieland Shoultz Farm, Bordine Farms, Goetz Family Farm, Heim Gardens, Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, Kapnick Orchards, Lake Divide Farm, Merkel Gardens and Greenhouses, Tantré Farm, Two Tracks Acres, La Baguette, Lakehouse Bakery, Stone Hearth Bakery, Sweet & Salty (cookies), Raterman (sourdough bread), Fluffy Bottom Creamery, Para Para Creamery, H&H Sugarbush, LLC, Shoreline Wild Salmon, Affeathermations, Awakened Provisions, Bristle’s Handmade and Homegrown, Debbie’s Beads, Lavender and Honey Herbal Apothecary, Country Hills Pottery, Elderwoods, Hoppy Soap, Holdwick, Santa Rosa Watercolors, Smellz so Good (candles), Thistle Blossom Herbal, and Roaming Goat hot food.
