The Chelsea Outdoor Farmers Markets run through the end of October, which means just two Saturday markets left.

This Saturday’s market, which runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Palmer Commons on Main Street, will have a variety of produce vendors selling apples, pears, grapes, apple cider, colorful vegetables, pumpkins, herbs, plants, flowers and more.

Fresh breads, cookies, cakes, and muffins will also be for sale.

Look for eggs, honey, and seasonings too.

There is a regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.

To learn more about what to expect each week at the farmers markets, visit the website at www.chelseafarmersmkt.org, visit the Chelsea Farmers Market Facebook page, or e-mail [email protected].
