Kari Holmes performs at Sounds & Sights on June 13

Kari  Holmes, a country and pop singer-songwriter, will return to Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights on June 13 in downtown Chelsea from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

During this free summer concert series, professional artists perform at 10 staged areas located throughout downtown Chelsea featuring music, dance, comedy, and family entertainment.

The June 13 lineup includes Celtic and bluegrass music by The North Creek Fiddlers, rock and blues by Fighting Unlucky, jazz fusion by Dorkestra, rock favorites by The Tritones and a unique mix of Americana by The Whiskey Charmers.

In addition to music, there is something for the whole family including 3 Generations Entertainment balloons and Dee Dee the Clown.

The Chelsea District Library’s Comedy Showcase features comic Mike Green on the Library lawn. Green is known for his natural likeability, original jokes and strong improv background.

Visitors are also able to experience the new installation of SculptureWalk Chelsea, a self-guided walking tour of 12 juried sculptures.

There’s also a movie at dusk presented by SRSLY Cinema: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (PG-13)
