Sylvan Township voters gave Incumbent Trustee Democrats Kurt Koseck and Sandra Schulze the most votes in the Aug. 6 primary with 412 and 349 votes respectively.
Newcomer Dan Russell received 338 votes according to unofficial results.
With Supervisor Kathleen Kennedy not running for reelection, current Township Clerk Amanda Nimke (D) ran for the position and received 604 votes while Scott Cooper (R) got 246 votes. They will face off in the general election in November.
Douglas Jackson (D) ran unopposed for the clerk position, and received 548 votes.
Democrat Sandra Egeler received 556 votes while Republican Trenda Eversole got 240 votes for the treasurer position being vacated by current Sylvan Township Treasurer Rod Branham, who chose not to run for re-election. They will face off in November.
Of the 3,186 registered voters, 1,078 people voted in the primary.
