Lane Animal Hospital has started to receive a few calls and emails regarding news reports about a canine respiratory disease in other areas of the country.
The good news: as of now, we don’t know of any reporting’s in Michigan within the veterinary community.
We created a short video on our Facebook page with a bit more information on what we know, why this is a concern, how you can potentially help keep your household safer, and what to do if you are seeing symptoms.

We can only do so much to prevent disease spread, so remember the most important thing you can do as an informed owner is to watch out for signs of decline (coughing, lethargy, and/or lack of appetite) and reach out to us if those symptoms continue for a full 24 hours.
