Lane Animal Hospital recently announced the addition of Lucy Jones, a second groomer.
Jones joins the Lane Animal Hospital team with over 12 years as a pet stylist in grooming salons in the surrounding areas.
While studying education, earth science, and fine arts at Eastern Michigan University, she began working part-time as a grooming salon bather at PetSmart. She soon realized that dog grooming is more than just a good haircut and bath, but can actually make a pet feel great and boost confidence.
Little did she know she would find herself “hair deep” in animal grooming and styling as a career.
Jones has always had a love for all animals big and small. And with over 12 years in the pet grooming industry, brings not only the skills, but also the passion to treat each pet as her own. And, she makes time to learn about new products and techniques in the grooming industry.
She is highly experienced with AKC standard grooming, pet grooming and enjoys experimenting with creative grooming, too.
Jones prides herself in treating every pet with care and compassion and is very excited to help showcase her knowledge and passion with Lane Animal Hospital.
With the addition of Jones, grooming appointments are now available six days a week at Lane Animal Hospital.
She will be available for grooming Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
Brittany Fanning will have appointments available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
