The Washtenaw County Road Commission is expected to impose lane restrictions with flagmen for road resurfacing on a portion of Dexter-Chelsea Road between Steinbach and Parker Roads in Lima Township beginning Monday, July 22.
The daytime lane restrictions are expected to last five days.
The Road Commission and Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. are expected to begin milling and asphalt paving operations on Dexter-Chelsea Road from approximately 1,000 feet east of Steinbach Road to Parker Road.
Access for residents, businesses and deliveries will be maintained however, delays are likely.
Please note that all dates are tentative and the asphalt paving operations are weather dependent.
The Road commission asks drivers to be especially mindful of construction equipment and personnel and reduce speeds accordingly for everyone’s safety.
