Dear Editor:
Kudos to our Chelsea school board for improving community access and engagement in its proceedings.
I look forward to “virtually” attending school board meetings over the internet, and reviewing video recordings of board meetings that I cannot attend in “real-time.”
Using its “Zoom” software, our board can now welcome dozens or hundreds of citizen-voter-taxpayers – even after pandemic restrictions are lifted. Zoom can easily record Board meetings “in the cloud” and YouTube can host these immense video files – for free.
I applaud Scott Wooster and our 21st Century school board for providing Open Meeting transparency, safe interaction, and archiving capabilities.
