Letter to the Editor: Lima Township Needs Bill and Phil

Dear Editor:

We, the undersigned, support William Van Riper for Lima Township Supervisor and Phillip Kwaske for Lima Township Treasurer for these reasons:

  • Improve communication with all township residents to include live streaming of all public township meetings
  • Appreciate and respect other board members and appointed committees to create a functional environment
  • Comply with township policies and procedures, including the Open Meetings Act
  • Follow through with potential availability of all local, state and federal grant money
  • Develop a long-term vision for the township hall and greenspace, including the debt-free 16+ acres at 1 Lima Center Road, purchased for future development needs of the township
  • Create more opportunities for residents’ participation
  • Deliver prompt and courteous service
  • Provide professional competence and preparedness
  • Ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency

Lima Township needs common-sense leadership. Please cast your vote for Bill and Phil in the August 6, 2024, Republican primary election.
