Light agenda for Chelsea City Council meeting tonight

Chelsea logoThere are just two items on the council business agenda at the Chelsea City Council meeting on Oct. 6.

The City Council will discuss setting dates for two work sessions: one revolving around economic development ideas for the city and another to discuss the inventory of city’s facilities and property.

During its annual goals and objectives session earlier this year, both topics were brought up as important to certain council members.

In addition, City Manager John Hanifan is expected to give a utilities capacity update to the City Council.

Following the regular meeting, the City Council has scheduled a closed session to discuss collective bargaining with its unions.

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. in the council chambers in the new Police Building.
