The Lima Depot, which is located at 11506 Jackson Road, is available to be leased either by a residential or commercial renter.
That was announced by Lima Township Supervisor Duane Luick at the Feb. 8 Lima Township Board meeting via Zoom.
Also at the meeting, the board voted to have two trustees share the position of fence viewer.
Dale Luick and Greg McKenzie will both be fence viewers for the township for a two-year term lasting through Dec. 31, 2022. The roll of fence viewer only applies to animal restraint fences, not to decorative fences or boundary fences, which come under the jurisdiction of the zoning administrator.
In other action, the Lima Township Board approved charging a payroll record fee of $6.50 for information provided by the township. Requests often include tax rolls, and no matter how many pages of records requested, the fee will remain flat at $6.50.
