Earlier this week, the Chelsea Area Senior Center was the recipient of a fundraiser at the Chelsea Big Boy.

Local celebrities volunteered to serve and do other jobs at the local restaurant and a percentage of the profits from the meals served during the evening were donated to the senior center.

“I also want to send a special thanks to event chairperson Frank Pignanelli and Big Boy owner Robert and his entire staff for their help and support. They worked hard to make everybody feel welcomed – it’s the best part of small-town living,” said Trinh Pifer, executive director of the Senior Center.
