(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lori Coryell for the information in this story.)
Chelsea Rotary Club is hosting its second Quartermania fundraiser on Thursday, March 22 at the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds from 7-9 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
Quartermania is an auction where people place quarter bids on the items they want. If the number drawn matches the number on a bidder’s paddle, that bidder wins the prize.
We are looking forward to another fun-filled evening featuring local vendors, themed baskets, pizza, beer, and a drawing for $100 in quarters (courtesy of Rick Taylor Real Estate).
Vendors supplying items for bidding include Clever Containers, Discovery Toys, Hair by Trios, Hoola, Initials, Inc., Lemongrass, Love You More, Pampered Chef. RM Creations, Rodan and Fields, ToasteePups, and Vogue Boogie Candles.
Proceeds from Quartermania will benefit local charities.
Through fundraisers like Quartermania, Rotary has supported the good work of St. Louis Center, WAVE, Faith in Action, Huron Pathways, and Saturday Morning Challengers – among other worthy organizations.
A heartfelt thanks to our sponsors for the event – Chelsea State Bank, Rick Taylor Real Estate, Thompson’s Pizza, and Vogel’s Party Store. Quartermania would not be the same without you!
Come enjoy a good time for a good cause.
We hope to see you there.
The club meets Tuesdays at the Common Grill at 12:15 p.m.
