Grab your grocery bags on May 10, 2016, and head into Ann Arbor to support Chelsea Community Kitchen.

CCK is proud to have been selected to benefit from one of the Washtenaw Avenue Whole Foods’ 5-percent Community Support Day.

Five percent of all profits from the entire day of sales go to the selected non-profit group. CCK will be at the store that day with information about programs and how the organization serves the community.

“We’re excited to be included,” said Debi Weiker, Development Coordinator of the CCK Board of Directors. “As a small but growing organization, this will allow us to fund new programs supporting healthy food and local producers.  We especially hope to expand our youth programming.”

CCK serves the communities of Chelsea and surrounding Western Washtenaw with classroom and real-world education devoted to creating a healthy, local and sustainable food culture.

CCK offers classes and workshops for children and adults and supports local food entrepreneurs. Click here for more details about programs and to sign up for our newsletter so you’ll get reminders about this date and other activities.
