The first annual Chelsea High School (CHS) Art Show will take place from Thursday, May 11 – Sunday, May 14 in the auxiliary gym at the high school.
Thursday the entrance to the gym will be open until 6 p.m., Friday is the big event from 5-7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10-3 p.m.
The opening reception and the Celebration of the Arts night is on Friday, May 12 from 5-7 p.m. and will have musical performances by Chelsea House Orchestra, Chelsea Gold Acapella, Jazz Band, and student band Wicked Cricket.
The art show is a celebration of the visual arts at CHS, and will include work from each of the art classes in addition to art by students in Independence Hall and our new Project Geometry arts integration math course.
There will be paintings, drawings, ceramic and jewelry pieces, photographs, and much more.
Everyone is invited.
