One of the new vendors at both the Chelsea Wednesday and Saturday farmers markets is Angie Pietraszewski, owner of Lavender & Honey Herbal Apothecary based in Manitou Beach in the Irish Hills.

She specializes in natural wellness alternatives along with bath and body products.

“My products are very simple and very pure,” said Pietraszewski, a former nurse. “I have a passion for holistic and natural products.”

Lavender and Honey Herbal Apothecary sells bar soaps, natural deodorants and lotions. On the wellness side, the top seller is dandelion salve to help joint and muscle issues, along with essential oil blends, inhalers, and rejuvenation products for skin issues.

“I hand craft everything in small batches and use all organic ingredients,” said Pietraszewski, who has been making her product for the last four-and-a-half years.

The Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market runs from 1-5 p.m. and is located at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US12. You can also find cheese, honey, jam, baked goods, fresh produce, and much more.

Among the other vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Brieland-Schoultz Farm, Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle Lane Farm, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), Smellz So Good (candles), and Jam Man.
