Come out to the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US12 Wednesday and enjoy the Chelsea Farmers Market from 1-5 p.m.

There will be plenty of plants – herbs, vegetables, and more – along with asparagus, spinach, and rhubarb.

Brieland-Shoultz Farm is one of the regular Wednesday vendors and is now selling grass-fed beef. Joan Brieland and Greg Shoultz run the farm located at 10555 Boyce Road near Chelsea.

They also sell pasture raised poultry, free-range eggs, seasonal vegetables, homemade fruit jams, and goat’s milk soap.

Sometimes they also sell Brieland’s flavorful sourdough bread. You’ll find Brieland-Shoultz at both the Wednesday and Saturday Chelsea Farmers Markets.

You’ll also find cheese, honey, cookies, and French baked goods at the market.

Among the vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle Lane Farm, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), Smellz So Good (candles), and Jam Man.
