On Sunday, May 5, find out what Mother Nature has to offer as Rachel Misfud from Will Forage for Food leads a program called Edible Plants Foraging Walk.

The program will take place from 2-3:30 p.m.

Look for edible, medicinal, and otherwise useful plants and mushrooms on the Discovery Center trails.

The walk will be leisurely, but participants need to be able to handle uneven, shrubby or muddy ground, as we may leave the trail to search for these plants.   Cost: $2/person or $5/family.

Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in the Waterloo Recreation Area in Sylvan Township.

Advance registration requested at 734-475-3170.
