Get some fresh air and fresh food while enjoying the 2023 debut of the Saturday Chelsea Farmers Market on May 6 at Palmer Commons on Main Street. There is parking next to the market as well as across the street in the municipal lot.

The market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., and you can visit all of your favorite vendors and load up on produce, eggs, fish, jams, chocolates, baked goods, plants, flowers, crafts, and more.

As an added bonus, the Chelsea Area Garden Club will be handing out free white pine seedlings and wildflower seed packets as part of its 2nd Spring Community Program. The garden club will have its own booth and will offer education about the Michigan State tree and planting seeds that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. It’s thanks to a donation from the Washtenaw County Conservation District, www.washtenawcd.org.

To learn more about what to expect each week at the farmers markets, visit the website at www.chelseafarmersmkt.org, visit the Chelsea Farmers Market Facebook page, or e-mail [email protected].
