This is a reminder for people interested in meeting the four candidates running for the Chelsea Board of Education in the November election.
A “Meet the Candidates Night” will take place Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Washington Street Education Center board room and will last about an hour and a half.
There are four candidates running for two seats. They are incumbent and Board President Steve Olsen, Dana Emmert, Laura Bush and Kathy Keinath.
The event is hosted by the Chelsea Education Foundation and is a chance to meet the candidates and learn more about why they have decided to run for office.
Although hosted by CEF, the group does not endorse any candidates.
The evening’s format is a question-and-answer session with a moderator facilitating.
