Although the athletes played very hard, the Beach Middle School lacrosse team lost 17-3 to Belleville this week.
Lacrosse Coach Fred van Reesema said Will McFate scored one goal and Nick Whitesall scored two goals.
The team will play again on Friday at Dexter.
