The Chelsea Artists Guild, a newly-formed group of local artists, will have a show and sale of their artwork at the Wine, Women and Shopping event in Chelsea on Nov. 9,

In addition, the artists will join this year’s Hometown Holiday event on Dec. 7-8 in the Clocktower Commons Hallway, courtesy of McKinley Properties.

“There will be so many activities for both events that we wanted to be a part of it and help expand the offerings for the event,” says Guild Member Tammy Burke.

“We formed to provide opportunities for the community and surrounding areas to be introduced to local Chelsea artists, and allow the artists to collectively show and sell their artwork at different venues,” she says. “We are all excited about the new opportunities and growth for our group.”

Rose Bradley, another artist in the new guild, says, “There will be small original works of art as well as prints and cards for sale, including Christmas cards, all at affordable prices.”

The Guild includes portrait artists, oil painters, watercolor artists, and some of the artists will be demonstrating watercolor and oil painting techniques during the show.

Artists exhibiting at the event include Burke, Bradley, Missy Cowan, Paula Christie, Robin Phillips, Sue Craig, Sally Wetzel, Mary Fitzgerald, Nancy Murray, Ann Taylor, Neta Mills, Janet Alford, and Nancy DeMars.
