Kevin Riley and Francisca Fernandez, owners of the New Chelsea Market are officially open in their new, temporary site in the Chelsea Shopping Center in southtown.
“We received our certificate of occupancy and we are open for business and raring to go,” they said in an email, adding, “In our temporary location, we are offering our Piedmontese steaks, Gunthorp Chicken and fresh seafood.”
The new address is 1060 S. Main St. and the store will be open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
They said they also have the deli meats and cheeses in stock and ready to go. Zingerman’s is back to delivering fresh breads, cookies and brownies every day and Frog Holler is delivering fresh veggies and fruits five times a week.
“We are excited to be in our new location and look forward to seeing everyone,” they said in the email, adding, “We are looking at a number of new product offerings to put in our permanent location – and looking for suggestions.”
