Not an emergency: Dexter Township tests outdoor warning sirens

During the next three days, residents in Dexter Township (and perhaps surrounding area residents) will hear sirens go off as testing of the township’s new outdoor warning siren system takes place.

“Warning sirens will be periodically tested over the next three (3) days in the Dexter area. This is only a test and there is no need to be concerned,” according to a message from the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.
