  1. Chelsea can be so proud in the way our veterans are honored on Veterans Day. This has been a long tradition. Even though I no longer live in Michigan, I remain quite interested in Chelsea, its growth and history. Veterans Day reminds me of when my youngest child, who has since retired to Chelsea, was honored to be the speaker for Veterans Day. He was to graduate CHS in the spring and had been accepted into the Naval Academy. General Dwight Beach had retired to his home town, became a family friend, and helped secure my son’s Naval Academy appointment. General Beach, Tom Zachovich and Tommy Poulter all served with honor and distinction. To the many others from Chelsea who have served as well as their families,
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
