This Monday, the Chelsea Kiwanis Club will have a report on Saturday’s service project with University of Michigan’s and Kiwanis family’s Circle K Club and with Chelsea High School’s Key Club.

Several yards were raked for seniors who requested the service through the Senior Center.

Circle K spent the whole 24-hour day doing different projects in the area.

Last week, Jennifer Fischer, president of the Chelsea PTO, was joined by  Vice President Katie Hepler, working with North Creek Elementary and Vice President Kim Gutierrez De Pineres, working with South Meadows Elementary discussed the activities planned.

Coming up on Friday, Nov. 16 at North Creek is Family Fun Night, featuring Mr. Robinson’s dance party, among other cool activities. Chelsea Kiwanis operates our food concession trailer at the end of school year Ice Cream Social, donating all profits to the PTO.

The club meeting begins each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m. Everyone is invited to the club’s meetings to learn about Kiwanis.
