There is a huge choice of produce, baked goods, eggs, meats and more at the weekly Chelsea winter market, which takes place this Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Washington Street Education Center.

This week’s entertainment is “Soul Songstress” Stacey Murray, who was awarded Detroit’s Jazz Singer of the Year Award in 2019. The talented performer is also the co-owner with husband Saadiq Murray of Hankra Jewelry, which sells a variety of copper and sterling silver jewelry.

Whether you’re shopping for your everyday needs, Thanksgiving dinner, or Christmas presents, you’ll find all sorts of choices at the winter market including handmade wooden crafts, herbals, soy candles, bird houses, and pottery, as well as a large variety of vegetables, herbs, apples, and apple cider.

There will also be plenty of fresh baked goods including breads, cakes, and cookies.

And there is always fresh, hot coffee available.

Saturday market vendors at the indoor market include Brieland Shoultz Farm, Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, Kapnick Orchards, Marks Farm, Tantré Farm (through the first week in December), La Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Golden Fleece, Para Para Creamery, Shoreline Wild Salmon (twice a month), Affeathermations, Debbie’s Beads, Country Hills Pottery, Smellz so Good candles (every other week), and Thistle Blossom Herbal.
